Error Applying Hard Drive Changes

Hyper-V Virtual Machine Error Message: Failed to add ‘Synthetic Disk Drive’.

Cannot attach storage media to the controller because the specified location is in use.

Solution: This is due to adding a VHD to the wrong controller in an earlier task, follow the task instructions but instead use IDE CONTROLLER 0 instead of IDE CONTROLLER 1 (see video above).
